# SORACOM IR Data Book - User Guide for AI

## Overview

`ir_data_book_202606.csv` is a flat, machine-readable export of the IR Data Book (xlsx) published by Soracom, Inc. (株式会社ソラコム): one row per reported quantity, one column per fiscal period. Figures are Japanese GAAP, consolidated, in Japanese yen, as rounded in the xlsx.

Data file (this edition): [ir_data_book_202606.csv](https://soracom.com/ir-data/ai/ir_data_book_202606.csv)

Latest edition (fixed URLs): [ir_data_book_latest.csv](https://soracom.com/ir-data/ai/ir_data_book_latest.csv) / [ir_data_book_latest_README.md](https://soracom.com/ir-data/ai/ir_data_book_latest_README.md)

The fixed URLs are copies of the newest edition, so file names inside them still show that edition's `YYYYMM`.

The CSV covers only the periods in that edition of the IR Data Book. Earlier IR Data Books are not merged, and item names and KPI scope have changed between editions, so figures taken from an older edition may not be comparable.

## Fiscal Periods

- `FY####`: fiscal year ending March of that calendar year. `FY2027` = 2026-04-01 to 2027-03-31 = 2027年3月期 (`FY3/27` or `FYE March 2027` in company materials).
- `FY####Q#`: a single quarter, not cumulative. Q1 = Apr-Jun, Q2 = Jul-Sep, Q3 = Oct-Dec, Q4 = Jan-Mar. YoY compares the same quarter one fiscal year earlier.
- Trailing `F` (`FY2027F`): the company's forecast (業績予想), not actual results.
- Balance Sheet, paying-account, employee and term-end cash rows are as of period end; other rows are amounts for the period.
- Columns in this file: quarterly `FY2025Q1` – `FY2027Q1` (9 columns); annual `FY2021`, `FY2022`, `FY2023`, `FY2024`, `FY2025`, `FY2026`; forecast `FY2027F`.

## CSV Layout

```
section,item,breakdown,sub_breakdown,value_type,unit,label_ja,<period columns>
```

- `section`: `Income Statement`, `Revenue by Type`, `KPIs (Group Total)`, `KPIs (Overseas)`, `Employees`, `Revenue by Region`, `Balance Sheet`, `Cash Flow Statement`.
- `item` / `breakdown` / `sub_breakdown`: English label, up to three levels following the indentation in the xlsx. Unused levels are blank.
- `value_type`: `value` (the figure, in `unit`) or a ratio in percent: `yoy_pct`, `pct_of_revenue`, `margin_pct`, `pct_of_sga`. A ratio is a separate row with the same labels as its `value` row.
- `unit`: `JPYmillion`, `JPYthousand`, `accounts`, `persons`, `%`.
- `label_ja`: Japanese label (repeats the English label when the xlsx has none).
- Values are integers without separators; ratios are percentages with one decimal (`43.6` = 43.6%), transcribed from the xlsx rather than recomputed. A cell is blank where the xlsx shows `-`, is empty, or does not report that period for the row. Because the xlsx rounds each figure independently, components may not sum exactly to totals.

The second is recurring revenue, generated through monthly subscriptions for communication services and high-value-added features required for IoT systems and platform usage.
